5.​Short Title: This bill may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation Bill 2023.

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM:

A Bill for an Act to authorize the issue from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation the total sum of  N 2,176,791,286,033  (two trillion, one hundred and seventy-six billion, seven hundred and ninety-one million, two hundred and eighty-six thousand, thirty-three Naira) only, of which N 18,000,000,000 (eighteen billion Naira) only is for Statutory Transfers, N1,033,471,162,373 (one trillion, thirty-three billion, four hundred and seventy-one million, one hundred and sixty-two thousand, three hundred and seventy-three Naira) only is for Recurrent (Non-Debt) Expenditure while the sum of N1,125,320,123,660  (one trillion, one hundred and twenty-five billion, three hundred and twenty million, one hundred and twenty-three thousand, six hundred and sixty Naira) only is for contribution to the Development Fund for Capital Expenditure for the year ending on the 31st day of December 2023.
