FIC Report (Abia State) – History was made in Abia State as Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s Media Team officially launched REBUILDER365, a promotional campaign designed to showcase one project completed by the Governor per day for the next 365 days.
Speaking while unveiling the initiative with the show of the maiden episode, Project 001 tagged “Aba Fashion Week” at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Dr. Eze Chikamnayo explained that REBUILDER365 is the unveiling of the excellent works of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the rebuilder of Abia State and will be running on all the social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram among others for the next 365 days.
He further said that the essence of REBUILDER365 is to document and propagate the excellent performance of Governor Ikpeazu, revealing that “it is on record that Governor Ikpeazu is rebuilding Abia State for posterity in every sector. Where he met broken roads, he has rebuilt them, where he met broken bridges he has rebuilt them, where he met a dysfunctional educational sector he is rebuilding them assiduously, where he met a disillusioned workforce, especially in our SME sector, our brothers and sisters in Aba, the artisans, the tailors, the shoe makers, he has not only rebuilt their confidence but he has helped them to rebuild their businesses and regained their market share not only in Nigeria, in West African sub region”.
He disclosed that projects done and delivered by the Governor would be showcased on those social media platforms. Dr. Chikamnayo maintained that “the Governor has done excellently well in every sector in Abia State. Should we decide to show two in a day, it will be enough”.
The State Information boss stated that a lot of people have been misled about the true situation in Abia State and emphasized that “our duty is to defeat evil with truth, to defeat darkness with light, to defeat fiction with facts and we shall do that deliberately in a very very clear manner within the next 365 days” He said the vision of the Governor is to create a better life for Abians in all sectors of the economy, hence his innovative achievements including Made in Aba, Telehealth, State Orientation Agency, sustainable youth empowerments among others.
Dr. Chikamnayo, who stressed that the Project 001 shows the quantum lift the Governor has given to the Made in Aba products between 2015 till date, described him as the Rebuilder of Abia. He informed that Governor Ikpeazu has rebuilt many sectors of the economy which were hitter to dilapidated, adding that he completely rebuilds to last and said that the campaign will report the excellent works of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, including his many intangible achievements and urged Abians to join in the current move to reposition Abia State.
