Adegbite Lauds Oluwadamilare, His SA, Documention, For His Ingenuity

The Honourable Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite has commended the ingenuity of his Special Assistant, Documentation, Mr. Fawole Oluwadamilare, for the aesthetic photo documentation of his activities since assumption of office a year ago.

He made the commendation on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 at a photo exhibition tagged: The man of steel, 365 days of giant steps: Records show, held at Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Abuja, put together by Oluwadamilare.

“This tells the journey of how we started when we came to the Ministry. We did a lot of familiarization visits to various Parastatals and various Agencies of the Ministry, and he was able to capture these events which he has shown in these photo visuals so that this can tell a short story of what we‘ve done in one year in the Ministry”, he said. 

Adegbite added that ‘’ the whole essence of the exhibition  exercise was to tie together the mandate given by President Muhammadu Buhari to diversify the economy, using the Mining sector as fulcrum to create jobs for our people, make the sector attractive for investors and of cause, generate revenue for Government ‘’ .

The Minister described Oluwadamilare as a young man who is enterprising and determined to succeed, noting that the sky was not just the limit but a stepping stone for him. He enjoined other youths in Nigeria in particular and the world at large to pursue their dreams with patience and divine guidance, stressing that at the end of the day, there will be a silverleaning at the end of the tunnel.

Also the Minister of State, Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogar applauded  the experience and the creativity of Oluwadamilare, which he said was a great asset to the nation. He said the photo exhibition showed a holistic coverage of the entire activities and the programmes in the Mineral Sector which ultimately conveyed the message that the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development is working assiduously to fulfil its mandate.
