Governor Ganduje amplifies 3- Model strategy to tame the menace of unwanted spread of corona virus across the state.

The mechanism involves preventive, curative and palliative measures. Each of the 3 stages has its attaching demands of which the state government prepares adequately and is also stepping up all the process.

This was disclosed by Governor Ganduje when he was receiving contribution of Food and other related items worth over 100 million from the Lebanese Community in Kano at Maganda road.

They included 30 tones of rice 2000 spaghetti cartons, 1000 bags of Dawavita, hand sanitizer among others.

Ganduje said, the donation we have just received falls under all the categories we have in place in this fight against these global pandemic, hand sanitizers, detergent and similar items are all used to prevent us from contracting the virus.

He further explained that at the preventive stage government is tirelessly engaged on creating awareness to the public and the closure of the state boundaries.

There is also the creation of state task force on covid-19 which is all part of the proactive and preventive measures of stepping up on issues related to the fight against the virus. The isolation centre’s set up by the state government at Sani Abacha stadium of 600 beds in collaboration with Aliko Dangote and that of Kwanar Dawaki and Yargaya respectively were all at the completion stage.

From the palliative stand point Ganduje established fundraising committee; under this category Alhaji Aminu Dantata donated the sum of 300 million among other contributions all in an effort to have successful palliative response in the critical period.
