Mr. Dasuki Arabi

The Director-General Bureau of Public Service Reforms, BPSR, Mr. Dasuki Arabi recently, commended Dr. Jummai Ahmadu on her new book titled “Abuja: The Evolution and Development of a Capital City”.

Mr. Arabi while speaking at the book launch, said the book holds a substantial influence that projects the reality of the evolution of a capital city like Abuja.

He also said: “the book will enrich our knowledge and enhance our understanding of the evaluation of Abuja generally, and activities of the FCTA in particular. There is no doubt in my mind that the book will serve as a good reference document on the nation’s developmental process. I, therefore, recommend it for the general readership, especially to the Administrators of FCTA/FCDA, university students, and those in authority.

He, however, acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Jummai Ahmadu for putting out a good work he described as a very comprehensive account of the Evolution of the new Capital City.

“I wish to commend the author for her vision and efforts to document what I consider a very comprehensive account of the Evolution of the new Capital City. This is a particularly important development, as the book will surely fill the current gap in the public understanding of the dream of our founding fathers. I hope that this effort will be sustained, particularly by the likes of Dr. Jummai Ahmadu, given the importance.

“The Author, Dr. Jummai Ahmadu, is one of the most experienced staff of FCTA. With this kind of exposure and cognate experience, you will agree with me that the author is in a vantage position to write a book on Abuja”. He added.
