The Ministry has agencies under it’s purview, for instance, the North East Development Commission was created to rebuild the North East, especially Borno State. The Ministry is working assiduously to ensure its mandate to provide effective coordination of all Humanitarian Interventions Nationally and Internationally.

Farouq commended the the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for a good working relationship and interventions provided.
