Delivering his address earlier, the State Coordinator, NYSC, Abia State, Mr. Ekeh Julius drew the attention of the State Government on the deplorable conditions of the permanent Orientation Camp, Umunna in Bende L.G.A of the State, which needs urgent intervention.

“The camp which was built in 2006 and handed over to NYSC in 2007 as a result of constant usage and increase in C.orps population
The camp facilities currently is in dire need of government intervention in the area of fixing of leaking roofs of major structures in the Camp and gully erosion control.

“Your Excellency Sir, tarring the internal road network of the Camp, and construction of durable drainages system towards the Ochendo Camp market axis in the Camp may not be a bad idea. As these efforts will curtail the ravaging effect of the erosion menace which is currently affecting one of the Ochendo Hostels”.
