NEBEOLISA TAKES OVER FROM IDOWU AS PERMANENT SECRETARY OF BUDGET AND NATIONAL PLANNING

Former Permanent Secretary, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Olusola Idowu(R) handing over to Engr. Nebeolisa Anako, as the new Permanent Secretary BNP, recently, in Abuja.

Engr. Nebeolisa Anako has assumed duties as the new Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning following the receipt of Handover note from the former Permanent Secretary Mrs. Olusola O. Idowu in a ceremony witnessed by Directors and other senior staff of the Ministry.

Mrs. Idowu, while handing over, stated that she was retiring with a parting gift from the office of the Head of Service, the gift being the integration of 287 staff of the former Planning Commission as officers regularised into the Federal Civil Service as approved by the Head of service.”

According to Idowu, “files have been opened for all staff involved and letters would be rolled out to them staff through the Federal Civil  Service Commission, as she urged the incoming Permanent Secretary to conclude the process of the regularization of the Planning Commission into the Federal Civil Service Commission as already approved by the Head of Service.

The New Permanent Secretary, Engr. Nebeolisa Anako, who was until his appointment, the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry Power, expressed his delight at meeting with well trained staff of Budget and National Planning and assured that he would facilitate the Ministry’s key mandates in other to achieve the goal of Mr. President.

Anako sought the cooperation of all staff stating that Budget and National Planning arm of the Finance Ministry was  key in National Development Plans which cut across all sectors.

The new Permanent Secretary expressed satisfaction at the level of work done  so far on the regularisation of staff of the Ministry into the main stream of the Civil Service. He pledged to complete the process.
