Nigeria and Poland Proposes Memorandum of Understanding

The Minister of Defence, General Bashir Magashi has assured the Poland Ambassador to Nigeria that the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Military bilateral ties between Nigeria and the Republic of Poland will be carefully reexamined and reviewed in the interest of both countries.

Gen. Magashi gave the assurance while receiving in audience the Ambassador of Poland, Her Excellency Joanna Tarnawska who was accompanied by the country’s Defence Attaché to Nigeria, Colonel Marek Kozera in Ship House, Abuja.

Earlier Ambassador Joanna Tarnawska had said that the purpose of her visit was to discuss and renew ties of interest and also strengthen mutual relationship in the area of Defence.

She extended invitation to the Ministry of Defence for participation in the Military trade fair coming up September this year in Poland.
