Ortom Promises Massive Infrastructural Development

BENUE STATE (FIC MAKURDI) The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has promised to give serious attention to the infrastructural development of the State within the second term in office.

Speaking at the Chapel of Grace, Government House, during the inaugural
service on June 2, 2019, the Governor said that crisis of herder/farmer clashes affected his performances seriously in his first term.
Samuel Ortom called for unity amongst Benue people, stressing that the
future was bright. He also called on the people to have the fear of God and
commitment to service, while asking God for His intervention in the life and

economy of the people.
The Governor further appreciated the support of the church to his
administration and promised to synergize with the church.
Earlier, the Chairman of CAN, Rev. Apken Leva acknowledged the working
relationship that exists between the Church and the Governor and called for its sustainability.

During the inaugural service, prayers were offered for peace, security and
economy of the land as well as all the arms of Government.
