In her address, the Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan described the Centre as a dream come true. She stated that in the civil service there are a lot of health related complaints, ailments and sudden deaths, while many civil servants are unaware of their health status, just as many also die immediately after retirement. She noted that this calls for establishment of the employee wellness Centre to be manned by health experts for employee to access and deal with these issues.
