Hon Federal Commisioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and IDPs has presented truck loads of food and household items to persons of Concern in Dutsinma and Safana Local Government of Katsina State.
Performing the ceremony at the Dutsinma Local Government Secretariat, Senator Basheer reiterated the concern of president Muhammadu Buhari, especially in this trying period occassioned by the out break of the coronavirus.
The materials including food items such as bags of beans and rice, assorted household items for cooking, drugs and mats among many others were distributed to the beneficiaries on household basis, supported by security agents.
He urged them not to sell the items, but use judiciously for the well being of their families.
High point of the occasion was practical demonstration of hand washing by the Commissioner as part of the current global campaign against the spread of coronavirus.
