Sunday Dare Lauds Corp Members achievements; promises good welfare and health insurance packages

ABUJA (FEDERAL MINISTRY OF YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT): The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has applauded the Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corp Members, currently serving in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), for their numerous achievements in their academics.

The Minister gave this indication when he paid an official visit/facility tour at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Kubwa, Abuja, on Friday, 6th September, 2019.

He charged them to take advantage of opportunities beyond the camp and he further informed them that the Federal Government will not hesitate to facilitate adequate health insurance schemes, as well as ensure the welfare of Corp members nationwide.     

 

While appreciating officials of the camp, the Minister affirmed that the Youths belong to the very virile segment of the Nation’s population. 

The State Coordinator, National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Abuja, Hajiya Walida Isa, in her welcome address, stated that the camp was officially opened by the Minister of FCT Mohammed Bello on the 22nd August 2019. She stressed that a total number of 1, 804 Corp Members comprising of 889 Males and 915 Females were currently participating in various camp activities and were set to exemplify high sense of commitment, due diligence and loyalty to the Nation as they pass out.

She also thanked the Minister for his interest in the NYSC projects, as she also restated the willingness of the camp officials to give these young Nigerians, the right orientation needed to build the nation.
